Girl Scout QuestFest is unique…and detailed! Before registering, be sure to read through this page, our pricing section and our FAQ section. You’ll also need to consider transportation, food and lodging. Good thing we have exclusive hotel rates, huh?
INCLUDED IN THE QUESTFEST REGISTRATION FEE:
The QuestFest registration fee includes admittance to the check-in expo, participation in the Quest, commemorative patch and swag, and admittance to the finale celebration and concert.
In order to participate in QuestFest 2017, you must register by June 1, 2017. No late registrations will be accepted.
If you register before January 31, 2017, you will receive an Early Bird Discount of $15 per person.
Members of Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia Council:
Early Bird Registration (before January 31, 2017): $70 per person (girl or adult)
Regular Registration (between January 31, 2017 and June 1, 2017): $85 per person (girl or adult)
Members of other Girl Scout Councils:
Early Bird Registration (before January 31, 2017): $85 per person (girl or adult)
Regular Registration (between January 31, 2017 and June 1, 2017): $100 per person (girl or adult)
Note: A $50 deposit per person is due at the time of registration. Payment is due in full by June 1, 2017.
Members of Girl Scouts of Historic Georgia Council: $30 per person
Members of other Girl Scout Councils: $35 per person
Movie Night at the Historic Lucas Theatre (Friday, July 14, 2017 at 8 PM):

ONLY REGISTERED GIRL SCOUTS MAY PARTICIPATE
All QuestFest participants must be registered Girl Scouts by June 1, 2017. This applies to adults as well as girls. If you are not currently a registered Girl Scout and would like to participate in QuestFest, please use this link to find your local Council and register as a Girl Scout. (After clicking the link, click the green Join Now! button, enter your zip code and click go. This will take you to your local Council’s website, where you will click another green button that will say Join Today, Start the Fun Today, or a similar phrase. You will then be able to register as a Girl Scout.)
Teams must have between 10 and 15 people, with a minimum of 2 adults and a maximum of 5 adults.
If you do not have enough people to form a full team, you may register a smaller group. Groups smaller than 10 people will be combined with other groups in order to form full teams prior to the event. In order to register between 1 and 6 girls, at least 1 adult must register as well. In order to register 7 or more girls, at least 2 adults must register as well. In planning your QuestFest journey, be sure to comply with all Girl Scout Safety Activity Checkpoints.
If you register with a group smaller than a full team, be on the lookout for an email that will include the email addresses of all adults on your team. This email will go out after the registration deadline of June 1, 2017. There will be a meeting place for multi-group teams at the check-in expo as well as at the Quest kick-off on Friday morning, but we strongly encourage you to get in contact with your fellow team members before the Quest to exchange phone numbers and get to know one another.
BONUS: Teams that register together as a full team of 10-15 will be awarded 50 points, giving them a head start on the Quest.
Girl participants must be entering the first grade or above in Fall 2017 in order to register for QuestFest.
Girls must be 10 years old on or before July 15, 2017 in order to participate in the optional bridging ceremony over the Talmadge Bridge.
Note: If you plan on traveling with Girl Scout Daisies, please check with your local Girl Scout Council about their travel policies, some Councils have restrictions on traveling with Daisies.
WHAT TO BRING
- At least one member of the team should have a smart phone (either Android or iPhone) in order to use the QuestFest app.
- In order to be eligible to receive a cash prize, you must submit a Council Authorization to Participate form, which verifies that you are a registered Girl Scout, and allows us to write a check to your home Council. The form must be signed by a staff member of your Girl Scout Council. We strongly recommend that you email the completed form to email@example.com before QuestFest, but you will also be able to submit the form at the QuestFest check-in expo on Thursday, July 13.
- A complete packing list will be emailed to you after registration closes.
There will be cash prizes for the three teams with the most points at the end of the Quest. These prizes will be awarded to both the winning team and the Council (or Councils) they represent: 1st Place = $3,000 for winning team AND $3,000 for home Council(s), 2nd Place = $2,000 for winning team AND $2,000 for home Council(s), and 3rd Place = $1,000 for winning team AND $1,000 for home Council(s). If a winning team is made up of members from multiple Councils, the prize money will be distributed proportionally to team members and their home Councils. Prize money will be distributed to individuals through Girl Scout Councils after the event. (Example: if a team is made up of 14 members from 2 different Councils, with 7 people from each Council, and wins 1st place, each of the Councils will receive a check for $3,000. Each Council will keep $1,500 and will write a check to each of their 7 team members for $214).
HINT: There is an advantage for Councils that register full teams – they avoid splitting the prize money with other Councils if one of their teams wins.
Each person that attends a QuestFest event is considered a participant and must pay the QuestFest registration fee.
Extra adults or children are not permitted to join teams at any point on the Quest.
Non-registered QuestFest participants WILL be able to purchase tickets to attend the finale concert.
